I’ve been very careful this year to become more conscious of what is being impressed in my mind.
On a recent Podcast episode we get into how the brain is physically soft and highly impressionable.
That what we surround ourselves with, we become.
So I’ve spent a lot of time in the forest and I’m fortunate, at times, to close my eyes and see trees.
When you look up into a canopy, don’t they look like neural networks? Our lungs?
I ask my children often, “when you close your eyes what do you see?”
I hope it’s images that offer them comfort and safety.
As John Muir said, “One should go to the woods for safety, if for nothing else”
The photo is from a recent Tree Climbing Training my wife and I took. FUN!
